APO Summer School 2015
APO Summer School is a joint project of Association of Innovative Pharmaceutical Industry (AIFP) and Czech Medical Society of Jan Evangelista Purkyně (ČLS JEP).
One of the main aims of 2015 were to increase the erudition of patient’s organizations and to arrange the meeting and establishing closer connection and cooperation of representatives of patient organizations and deputies of the Czech Medical Society.
The APO Summer School took place in the main hall of Kaiserstejn Palace at the end of August 2015. The event was opened by:
- Prof. MUDr. Štěpán Svačina, DrSc. MBA, Chairperson of ČLS JEP
- Mgr. Jakub Dvořáček, MHA, Executive Director of AIFP
- Mgr. Kateřina Konečná (KSČM party), Member of the European Parliament
90 minutes long discussion with Mrs. Lenka Teska Arnoštová, the first Deputy of the Minister of Health of the Czech Republic and Radek Policar, Deputy of the Minister for Legislation and Legal Affairs of Minister of Health was included in the program.
All the day each patient organization had a chance to join the round table on 12 different therapeutical areas with their counterparts from the Czech Medical Society. Both, representatives of patient organizations and deputies of the Czech Medical Society had the opportunity to discuss the most important areas and to establish closer cooperation.
More than 100 participants of patient organizations, representatives of the Czech Medical Society and Czech media attended APO Summer School 2015.
